In Italy they make many types of Christmas desserts, depending on the region you live in, personally I make butter biscuits, similar to English shortbread. My mother-in-law made typical sweets from southern Italy, purcidruzzi, she kneaded water and flour, like making bread but without yeast or sugar or salt, then she kneaded small pieces of dough as if they were gnocchi and he boiled them in olive oil, then drained them and formed a mountain onto which he dripped honey with walnuts, hazelnuts and almonds. I tried to make them but I didn't succeed, they tasted too much like bread and I couldn't tell the recipe well.

@Kerrie .sorry just seen your tag. Yes .when you drain the potatoes .you sprinkle the flour on the potatoes. Then give them a shake. Sorry I'm not good at explaining. So you put all the ingredients in the roasting tin with the oil. Cook it for a minute stirring. Then, you put your flour coated potatoes in the tin. Toast the potatoes with all the ingredients. Then bake in the oven for an hour. I hope you can understand better. Sorry for the confusion 😕. Let me know how they turn out. And tag me if, you don't understand. my recipe is nothing exciting at the moment this is a recipe of coconut chocolate cookies kind of healthy let’s say .
2spoons of cold coconut butter smashed with one egg 🥚 mix with two spoons of grated coconut and two spoons of oat bran and of course chocolate chunk.
mix all, make medium balls and plant some chocolate chips on top of each balls if you want to decorate and then bakes for 20 minutes .
Yummy yummy 🍪 healthy and high protein

This is very good I am a sweet tooth and I found that recipe when I started boxing and doing sports it was hard and frustrating because of all the food restrictions and those kind of recipes are very easy to do and healthy of course if you don’t eat 30 pieces at a time 🤣 and also very tasty I hope you will try it one day it helps me a lot with the diet and to reduce the frustration
