Here is one beautiful and huge flower. I really don't know what is its name. I took the picture in Beijing in Forbiden Palace's courtyard. It grows near the lake and it has a huge flower and huge leaves. I am curious if @mysticalmysty knows which flower is this. It might be lotus though.

It’s a Red Sun Lotus @firebombmarkus so pretty, Thank you for sharing it. They originated from Japan. In Buddhist Lotus are symbolic to purity of the body, speech and mind.

My pleasure @firebombmarkus I was living in Bali for almost 3 yrs before I moved to US and they have lotus everywhere
