I cannot play past a 1st life.

I play a level to the end, purchase a life to try to finish the level, find I need a 2nd life. I then purchase a 2nd life and a shovel, the game takes my 12 gold bars, gives me five additional turns and a shovel, then promptly freezes. It has done this to me between 5 and 10 times. I will never get past the level this way! Level 420. FRUSTRATED!

@Edpdlaw Hi and welcome. please check you game is up to date and log out, clear the cache from your app store or browser and restart your device, then log back in and see if this solves your issue.
