In the United States, we welcome in the new year with parties and lots of fireworks. My parents hosted parties at our home every New Year's Eve -- my mother loved to party! I miss her more than her parties.

In the UK there are always many celebrations to attend but myself I don't attend any of them π

Also, everyone celebrates in their own way. Some prefer to go out and spend the night in the places they love most, some prefer to stay at home and stay up late and spend time with the family, and some, or perhaps the only one like me, prefer to sleep under any circumstances π¬
I don't like going out on New Year's, a lot of noise and crises, and I really hate this
