I am going to take advice on this one. It sounds to me like there has been a game issue, but as I don't play this one personally, I wouldn't want to give you the wrong advice.

Hi margretdzn (apologies for the slipped finger in the spelling of the post previously)
I asked one of the Superstars if she had encountered the same things.
This is her response : "It's a glitch, happens on PC because the game does what a lot of King games do for me on facebook, they often reload the same game data every day. I call it the repeating glitch. If the person did not have those boosters when they first loaded and have the 'repeating glitch' next time they load, the game gives exactly the same game data as before/last time it loaded (therefore without the new boosters) Progress is the same though."
I hope that makes sense. Needless to say, I am going to pass this on to one of the moderators.
What I would ask is that you do this troubleshooting in the meantime please

I saw the picture of the message. I hot an email saying that person left me a message. I looked there was no message. Why couldn't I see the message until you just showed me? I know about the mail icon at the top of the page and there were no new messages, only messages from 9 mos ago. Usually when I've had a problem in the past from something with game, crashing, gold, etc., it was solved within couple of days. This was bizarre.....I have 20 gold coins now, and remember buying them regularly. I don't remember in the last week or so being gifted with any other than what I bought. I guess I'll take your word for it that I received some gold coins to settle it, but it would be nice if I knew at the time. thank you.
Sorry, it was probably my fault. I have been quite busy on here and she does often pm privately, this time it was on the page and it can get busy if there are lots of posts. The posts also jumble up. We are hoping they might sort that on the new site

I just received this email this morning---I cannot find the "message" from Cezdiamond---there is no new messages up top in that little envelope, just something from 9 mos ago. Please advise.....

You need a new system.
They are working on a new beta site with improvements supposedly, but at the moment its a work in progress and even we Superstars find it easier on the old one.
It certainly would be easier if the messages stayed in order in the thread instead of jumping about
