10+5+5 = 20

5+2+2 = 9

5+(1*10 )= 15

The reason that 5+1*10=15 is because of the Order of Operations. The first operation in this problem is to perform multiplication first. So we have 1*+10 = 10.

Hi @PrettyBubbles I am pretty useless at maths, and especially algebra, so back to school for me 😅

I have worked out all the values, and after googling how, I think you have to multiply the 1 by 10 first which =10 then add the 5, which would make the answer 15. 🤞
