No connection - buying additional moves/lives

Hey, I have a problem, when I want to buy additional moves or lives it says there's no connection to the internet, but I'm playing on my laptop and obviously there is a connection, like right now I'm watching some stuff online on my other screen and it's working fine as well as other sites. Please help
