Cannot collect treasure chests

I have been having issues with bubble witch 3 for months on my android. 

1. I cannot collect my rewards from my treasure chests. I get an error. Uh oh something went wrong. Tap the gift icon on the map to get it. 

2. When I looked up fixes. It states to log out. Which I try on the game and it tells me that there is no internet connection and therefore canno log out. I only play when online on wifi. 

3. I cannot see my friends that play. Which also includes not being able to send or receive help. 

Please help.
