Summer was a wash out for the Uk.... not for me though. Loved the lack of heat. September might be warm but I look forward to the leaves changing colour and the nights drawing in 🤗
Lack of heat would be great, but you could have at least sent me some rain 😃🤣
@johamilton its mostly the stupid drizzly sort. The type you need a jacket and those are the muggy temp days. 🤦🏻♀️
Oh yuck, you can keep it! Lol
Hi @johamilton. As @Lady_Choo says, our summer was a washout. We did keep that horrid, drizzly rain here - no one else would have wanted it!
Today, it has been warmer, dry and much more pleasant. I look forward to seeing the Autumn leaves as they change colour. However, the most important thing in September will be for us to be able to celebrate my husband's birthday at home with family towards the end of the month.
Sounds like September will be a blessing for all the family. That is all that counts 💕
Hi @johamilton
I am also from the UK, so as @Lady_Choo has said we have experienced the same.
We are the southern part of the Country. The weather is due to warm up a bit next week and looking forward to hanging washing out on my line. I can't believe we still have a hose pipe ban in place since a year a go given the rain we have had!
It was incredibly dry last year and hot, our water company let our reservoirs run so low last year and with tourists they didn't want to impact on their enjoyment.
Looking forward to them lifting the ban at the end of this month so I can get my path and greenhouse pressure washed, my greenhouse is literally green! and my path black and slimy 🤢
Dad's birthday this month. My Gran's funeral on Monday.
Leaves are falling prematurely, many are green still! I so worry about Global Warming, changes in temperatures in our Environment and how mankind treats the World in which we live. We should be taking care of it, it is what supports us 😢
September is my birth month so it is special to me it is also my mom and my husband's birth month so I have a lot in September 🤗
I am hoping to see the aspen trees change colors this month...before I head back to Texas in October.
Since August it has been much too hot here in France with more than 40°C we have been sweating a lot 🥵, But this week the weather has really changed with a lot of rain and storms with 22°C we are breathing better 😀, The temperature has dropped by 20°C in not even 48 hours, This next week was supposed to be a little warmer before perhaps the arrival of autumn, For this month of September I'm really looking forward to seeing the color changes 🤩 and also celebrating my grandmother birthday coming up soon at the beginning of the month 🤗.
