I actually like living alongside the cemetery. There is a wealth of history to be had in old cemeteries. One of our more well known residents is the family of Billy the Kid ( Butch Cassidy and Billy the Kid were famous western outlaws) This family was originally from my town. My house is haunted but the spirits aren't mean. You just never know what to expect to happen in my house.

I know its late, I just got back to my 2 week long trip in province, I had alot of fun time there especially during the halloween where me and my family just participated in the halloween fest there, I gotta say the costumes that people are wearing are really nail the coffin of the spirit of halloween, i also saw other people cosplaying as cartoon/anime characters but me and my family's plan is to wear formal attire (tuxedo) with glasses so people have no idea whether we are dressed as draculas or a corporate or went on a wrong occasion, somebody ask us what are we here for and my dad said we are going to the wedding filled with halloween costumes which is here, and also after we went on that fest next up is house to house to trick or treat. I really hope that the houses my family went don't get the idea that we're here to pay their monthly dues, we just here for a candy this halloween alright. It was a fun event for people showing their halloween costumes some are scary and amazing to see, it such a mysterious halloween idea that we come up but it somehow worked.

Hi @PrettyBubbles we don't celebrate Halloween in Greece.

We have a similar celebration with various events in major cities of the country and take place before Easter. Generally the events are for fun, people of all ages wear costumes not scary ones.

In some places they wear scary costumes to exorcise bad events or in favor of a good harvest following old morals and traditions.

In most cases there are carnivals with floats inspired by current affairs, group of people with special costumes dancing an celebrating.

The biggest carnival takes place in Patra where the celebrations last 1 week and at the end they start preparing for next year's celebrations.

There are family gatherings along with plenty of food drinks and music.

We will follow the last option with the proper decorations and costumes.
