Bubble Witch 3 Hidden Spell

Hi. I don't understand how to play the hidden spell. I think that's what it's called. It is a wand. When I position it, it takes a few attempts/seconds and by the time I get the hang of it, it's done. I get like 2 tries. Am I doing something wrong???

The spells only last for a few seconds, it gives us unlimited arcane bubbles for that time, then back to normal. So try to clear as many as you can quickly. By the time my brain registers its there, its finished oops.
