My laptop performed an update and after that my game screen for candy crush friends got smaller. How do I expand it again?
As promised -here is an update to this issue:
The studio made the decision to remove the landscape mode on Win10 with the last release. Earlier they had support for the landscape layout on Windows 10 however, lately less scenes and events support that layout so they made the difficult decision to force the layout to portrait for all players. There is no plans to revert back to landscape at this time.
I know this not what a lot of players want to hear, but unfortunately that is the decision of the studio.
I don't play on a PC but on mobile devices and I have always had to play the game in portrait mode.

Change display of your laptop/PC
Hopefully, the above temporary method will help you view the screen larger than usual 😊

Hello @lllrnch6648 and @actipton80 - you are not alone. Quite a few players have reported this problem. It appears to be affecting people who play on PCs with Win 10. It has been reported to the game Community Managers this past week and hopefully we will have an update from the studio early next week.

Yes, it has also gotten smaller for me. It was better on the PC before

You're welcome. I have a huge monitor so it doesn't affect me as much. I don't play on any other devices because of small screens. I can understand being frustrated at it shrinking on a little laptop screen.
Thank you actipton80. I hope it will expand soon. I don't even want to play it until it is fixed.
The same thing happened to me on my PC. It doesn't expand because I tried. It's not as narrow as it used to be. I guess if enough people complain it will get big again in the next update.

Regarding reduced screen size, the following answer was given in another thread in the CCFS forum. I share it with you in case you are playing on a PC with Win10.
The King Studio made the decision to remove the landscape mode on Win10 with the last release of the game. Earlier they had supported the landscape layout on Windows 10; however, lately less scenes and events support that layout. Therefore, the Studio made the difficult decision to force the layout to portrait for all players. There are no plans to revert back to landscape at this time.
I know this is not what a lot of players want to hear, but unfortunately that was a decision of the Studio.
If you are playing on a different device than a PC with Windows 10, please let me know.
