Reached level 3400. Logged in yesterday and was at 3300. Contacted support. Support tried helping. Deleted app, logged out, reinstalled. Restarted phone. Support said engineer will contact me. No sound. Logged in again today and lo and behold! Lost another 20 levels.
i spent quite a bit of time and money. Wow. Great service.

I am sorry about the issue in your game!
Last week, we have received some extra episodes due to a glitch! The Friends game Studio has fixed the glitch and sent out a new release on Monday. Because of that, the game & levels are back, where they are supposed to be -- Level # 3280 for Mobile Devices and level # 3300 for Windows 10.
The team is not sure if our played levels will be saved after the fix. And hence, they were suggesting us not to play those extra levels, because, if the progress is lost with the fix, we have to play them all over again!

With regards to contacting the "Player Support team" -- since this is the issue is something, that's should be corrected only by the Friends Studio, the Support team will not be able to help with this particular issue. Hence, you have not heard from anybody. But, you will find all the info in the above link I gave (the Green Fonts).

There is poor communication overall. It is NOT acceptable that there is no official in-app communications about not playing these levels; how many people actually come in to the community and then get wind of this?
is this your business model then? Release flawed versions then blame it on glitches?
im furious because I invested time and money.
@fatmadcat Hi and welcome, all we can do in the community is apologies for this error, but if you have invested money into the game please email support from your game and i am sure they will help you with this.

I completely understand your frustration and anger about the issue.
After posting my above reply, I did talk to the Friends game Community In-charge, and here is the update.
The team wants you to wait till next Wednesday - as that is the day, new levels are released. If your progress of those new levels is saved and you do not have to play them again, it would be great.
But, if you have to play them again, the Team In-charge would like to have your game user ID number, so they can manually restore the progress of that episode. Unfortunately, the inconvenience for you would be that you might have to do this for next few weeks (till those 120 levels are covered)!
This way, the time and money you have spent to play those levels is saved, but not wasted ๐๏ธ
** This is a special request, as the Studio does not know how it will work after the new levels come out.
That is a good point and great feedback about not having "in game notification" to inform us "not to play those extra levels". It is true that, if we do not come to the Community, we would not know about this. I will send this info also, which will be very helpful for all the players.
Can you please post back on Wednesday and let me know if your new levels' progress is saved or not?

If the game wasn't saved on any account, don't panic! Player Support can restore your levels manually!
First make sure the game is connected to the Facebook or King account that you want to use in the game from now on.
Then head over to the Settings in the game and Help Center. Choose a topic and you'll find the 'Contact us' in the bottom of the page. Send an email to Player Support from there so they can help you you and manually restore the levels.ย
Please remember to mention what level you were on so Player Support can restore the game right away.ย
