Thank you @gr33n3y3z @hechicerilla and @CassD. Iโve been trying for a long time and gotten close a few times, but yes, this is my first win of the weekend challenge.
After reading all the posts on the number of winners each week, I am now a bit confused myself. I thought there were only two categories of winners and three possible badges.
Categories of winners:
1) First time winners - never won the weekend challenge.
2) Previous weekend challenge winners - those who are already in the Hall of Fame
Badges:
1) Champions badge - First time winners
2) Super Champions badge - Five time winners of the weekend challenge
3) Champion of Champions badge - Ten time winners of the weekend challenge.
Thatโs why I thought there were only two winners each week unless there are ties. The best score among the previous weekend challenge winners would get one step closer to either the Super Champions or Champion of Champions badge. If there were ties for the best score, all those who tied would get one step closer to either of those two badges.
The best score among those not yet in the Hall of Fame would win the Champions badge and enter the Hall of Fame and start competing for the next badges in future weekend challenges. If the was a tie, there would be a playoff so there is only one Hall of Fame winner per week.
This is the way I understood how it all worked, unless there is a distinction between those trying for the Super Champions badge and those trying for the Champion of Champions badge. In that case, I guess you could have three categories of winners each week, but I think two winners per week would make more sense.
@nnarkis, I basically had the same understanding you did except for the fact that I didn't know there could be other winners if the player who won was in the Champions race. Had I known that I would have posted my screenshot which would have tied Kate's and then I guess we would have both scored a win towards the next badge (Kate towards Super Champion & myself towards Champion of Champions).
I really don't mind either way, just want to make sure I know what the rules are because now I'm pretty confused and quite discouraged, I might add, that I didn't post my screenshot.
@DieOmimi can you please clarify this to us? ๐
Thank you @DaniTheOG and @johamilton! I appreciate the kind words. ๐
From what Lola has said many times before, if the winner was the newcomer to the Hall of Fame, then there would only be 1 winner. If the winner were from Super Champion or Champion of Champions race, then there would be more than 1.
If the race had always been separate among the players vying for Super Champion, then can I now get the other 2 wins that I should have received?. .. ... or maybe the rule has now changed again this week?๐ค
Exactly my.point, @DGenevieve. ๐ฏ
You clearly explain it without all the unnecessary "complications of language" I threw in ๐... I was clearly frustrated when I wrote earlier and wrote wayyyy to much. ๐ Also, thanks for fishing up that post from @Lola_Pop as that is the one I was referring to on my first comment regaring this matter.
#LoL DGen ๐ Trust me, I know: it was you & @rajdeeptb who actually got me interested in the Weekend Challenge. Even though I was a Mod back then I had literally no interest in it... until I saw the back & forth on defining the rules. I live myself some rules, daughter of a Judge here, sucker for rules. ๐
I was low-key hoping you and\or Raj would show up to shed some.light on this with your always sensible commentary. Appreciated girl, I now feel less frustrated as at least I know I didn't waste a good screenshot\score. And I was already happy that @nnarkis had won so all is good in my book. ๐๐๐
... I was also low-key hoping that @Pitty_Kitty
