Ever feel like you are being punished for bringing up the things King does to you?

Hi @brie_w thanks for your explanation. The same thing happened on my test account on an Android device (Lenovo Tab, Android 8.1) (all events disappeared after the update and Sweet Streak no longer works). However, I also use this account on another device (also an Android, manufacturer: Acer), where everything is fine after the same update and I can continue playing.
I've added more details to my report for the studio and am waiting for a response.
It definitely seems to have something to do with the device and not the account itself.

Hi @DieOmimi as I indicated in my original post, I have been contacting Player Support through the game. In fact, that is the primary way I have always reported issues that I have experienced. As I previously indicated, all that I receive in return is a pre-formulated email without even so much as a signatory to let me know a "real" person is replying. In the past seven or so times I have contacted about the events disappearing and the five or so times I have contacted about the lack of sound effects with some of the characters/events, I have only ever received the aforementioned pre-formulated reply and never a ticket number. I haven't received a reply from a "real" person nor any ticket number being referenced anywhere in the autoreplies. Then the very next day I'll receive an email asking for feedback on how they handled my inquiry. From what I am experiencing, I would say it seems as if they are done responding to my very frequent complaints. That may seem like conjecture, but it's the only explanation that seems to fit.

I have an HP All-in-One 24df1xxx, 64-bit operating system, x64-based processor, 128 MB Graphics card, 16 GB RAM, 11th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-1135G7 @ 2 .40GHz (2.42 GHz). The game version is 4.17.1.0 updated on October 14th.

Yes, it is three months old. AND IT IS THE SAME ISSUE. They issued an update and it broke everything we were assured was fixed from the last time they screwed this up. There is no point of checking the Help Center or any of the other suggested fixes. It is a development issue that they screwed up before and have screwed up again.

So there will CONTINIUE to be comments on this "old" post.

Describe your issue there. You will initially receive an automated response. If it contains a ticket number, you can post it here as a reference so we can track it.

Maybe so, but obviously the problem is still ongoing. And, as I stated above, I have done/tried everything to fix the issue(s) that have been affecting the game. My internet connection is very stable - no spikes, etc... - and my PC meets ALL of the game's parameters. The problem is NOT on my end.

This thread is three months old, and I don't know why there are comments here. Have you checked our Help Center for answers?

Agreed. I too play on a Windows PC and have written several times to Player Support about this issue and additionally about the lack of sound effects with some of the characters/events and ALL I ever get back is a pre-formulated email instructing me to do all the things I wrote to them that I already did with a little "the events are only temporary" and a "we're sorry" thrown in for good measure. As if we as players don't know that events are temporary. It says it right there on the screen! I am really sick of the seeming dismissals by game support with no fixes. Just as an example, I have written to game support seven times about the lack of sound effects for some of the characters/events and no fix. Just yesterday after there was an update (October 14th) I wrote for the fifth time about this happening. Still nothing. Just a preformulated reply and always without any signatory from a real person. Yesterday, when I wrote to player support, I had three events going, Dach's Delivery, a Misty Star Chaser, and Bubblegum Troll, plus the Sweet Streak is also gone even though it had only been active for about a week. Dach's and Misty both had (as of yesterday) 5 days and some hours left and Bubblegum Troll had 3 days and some hours left. Now they are ALL gone and I will miss out on earning the benefits from them. I have tried everything - uninstalling/reinstalling, going into windows settings and using the repair app feature, logging out/in, a hard close of the app through the task manager, all of which I followed up with restarting my PC and nothing helps. It shouldn't be on the player to have to work so hard and spend so much time to get a game to work properly. Really tired of this ish, if you know what I mean.

Yes, the only way that I can get any events to load is by logging out and then closing the app and logging back in. Every single time I have to do that. They refuse to fix the bugs in this game. They always give the same generic response too. Clear the cache, update the game, uninstall and reinstall. None of those things work at all!

In my case, I've been playing this game for 8 years and now my auxiliary games are gone... I think it's really the incompetence of the game's developers. I complain and they don't do anything.

Please contact support directly from within a game. Since there are no issues with in-game events on mobile devices, it seems the Windows app is faulty. I'm experiencing the same issue on Windows as you, but support told me I'm an isolated case.

If support doesn't receive any further complaints from other players, the fix will take a very long time. Last time, it took over a month.
