Gift in upper right hand corner - can't collect!

I updated today and game seems time but now I have a gift from the game in the upper right-hand corner, under the gold button. When I click on it says” no internet” I tried turning off wifi and just using my high-speed data still saying ”no internet”. I've had this issue since late November but with the gold button. Still can't buy gold! What is going on? My phone is updated it's an iPhone 8 plus. I will try the things you suggest but I already tried them before and no fix.
I would uninstall and reinstall but I don't want to lose my boosters.

Restart ur phone n try ... u can’t buy gold? How abt other games u playing? Can u buy?

This is the only game that is having this issue. I did restart and tried different connections again and still saying no internet. The gold button is a constant loading icon where the ( + )/ (add) button is. I can upload a pic if you need to see it.

Yes . Do upload a picture for the gold... it is a big concern if u can’t buy gold ...

Can you see where it's just a green circle that looks like loading but never connects. No plus sign there.

Please find out what is wrong with my game! I have a feeling this issue is also causing me not to get event’s because I have not had a event since Christmas. I get notifications for some events but I never get one.
Please I need to find out what is going on! Thank you!

You are experiencing this problem because your game is not fully connected to the server.
Right now, I'm asking you to check the steps below.
Check App Update > Log Out Game > Restart Device > Open Game & Log In.
If you receive an error message when logging in, show me a screenshot of it.

I've tried this fix before and I tried it again. No not working! I upload the game whenever a new update comes out and I have version 1.35.2. So I don't know why I've been having this issue for almost 6 months.

You can get the solution by Reinstalling App but you'll lose all stored boosters.
