Error when playing game

I tried emailing support through the game but was sent here. I wanted to tell about an error that occurs after failing a level. Every time it displays the scores of previous players there is a settings button at the top right, but there is no way to click said button.

    @epehrsson Hi! welcome to our community :)

    you happen to have posted this in candy crush jelly saga's support section and not cc soda's but don't worry, I believe this discussion will be moved in the right place. 😅

    So if I understand this correctly:

    • you fail a level
    • you get the weekly contest recap message (numbers of levels other players have cleared in a week)
    • then you should get the message saying failed level but you don't get it because you're always stuck with weekly contest message you're showing. Is it right? the purple X button at the top right in your screenshot doesn't work, does it?

    Then this looks like a glitch.

    First the most important thing: are you saving your progress with a king/fb account? If yes, please try this:

    • check app updates
    • if you play on mobile: clear cache. Go in your mobile general settings > app management > find CC soda > memory storage > clear cache BUT be careful not to delete DATA, those are for your boosters and can be permanently deleted.
    • then open cc soda app, log out and close it
    • restart device
    • open app and log in
    • clear a level to make sure your app is connected to the server and see if your problem still persists

    In regards to the first part of your message, that isn’t what I was talking about. I was talking about the “Settings” button you see at the top right. It isn’t an actual “button.” You can’t click the button at all. It’s just ‘there’.

    @epehrsson thank you for clarifying. Sorry I misunderstood, I thought a problem occurred during the closing of the game.

    I also have that settings icon and it doesn't direct anywhere. So I don't think your app has an error per se but most likely it's a graphic glitch that doesn't do any harm. Let's wait for an expert's opinion in this though, I had already noticed it when playing but never wondered about it to be honest. I don't know the purpose 😅

    I know it’s just an “error” in the game. I had emailed them concerning the error and was told to post about it on the discussion boards 🤷‍♂️ I figured a developer might wander through from time to time. I guess not?
