My husband and I don't celebrate Valentine's Day because our marriage anniversary is a month later so I would prefer he focused on that day....a day that's only for us!! So I'm just going to share this that I thought was cute. Happy Early Valentine's Day to you all!! ❤️❤️❤️
When I was a child, St Valentine would knock at the front door and we kids would race to open it. Guess what? There was never anyone there! But on the doorstep were little presents for us.
It's a custom from the past, and now the day has morphed into a more commercial event.
But those days were very special to us. Wonderful memories
I wish I could read all the comments but it's too much and I have many tasks to do now. I will read it later on.
For me, we never celebrate Valentine's Day with family. The few days before Valentine's Day: 10 February is my grandmother's memorial day. My mother will prepare a lot of delicious food to “worship ancestors" (I'm not sure how to speak it in English). But for sure it's to remember my grandmother. We will eat the food together after that.
