I have question regarding friends system

I have some questions regarding Candy Crush Jelly's friend system

So is it true that currently we can only send lives with friend in facebook?, will it advantageous if I sync my progress using my king account? (I afraid that it will reset my facebook progress)

do we have recommended or official facebook group where we can add each other?

I seen a lot of player "add friend" in this forum, https://community.king.com/en/candy-crush-jelly-saga/discussion/385031/hello-jelly-friends for example, but they don't give their facebook profile, how is that possible?, I don't see "add friend" button

Ok this sounds very odd as the community has no affect on the games. Did you maybe log into the wrong account? Let me tag @FluffyDinosaur to see if she can give clarification to this?. I have the players account number it is 8442356353 and everything is updated so could it be something that were missing here?
