This first part is a repeat of something I posted to a Jelly Queen thread last night:
Every time I come up against a Jelly Queen level I cringe and wonder, "How many days of losing 5 lives is it going to take this time?" There is no strategy that successfully defeats her or gives me a fighting chance. I get her down to a few candies and boom, she takes a turn that cascades into a board that leaves very few of my red candies and only 1-2 turns left - there's no way to recover from that. In the process of losing, I've coughed up all of Allen's boosters. It's gotten to the point that I won't waste any gold bars or boosters in an attempt to extend my game because I lose in the end anyway. Eventually, sometimes after 2-3 days, I get lucky and the algorithm finally lets me win. Several times it's gotten so exasperating that I uninstall the app and start over again.
I don't mind Cupcake Carl and Licorice Larry - at least when they take a turn it pushes both of us toward a win - it's a relatively even playing board. But Jelly Queen takes a turn and causes me to go backward - how is that fair? Who thinks that's even fun?
I came here to vent because, other than these levels, I enjoy playing Candy Crush Jelly Saga.
In addition:
I read through some (not all) of the other posts on this thread, so I will echo a few things. I currently play Candy Crush Saga, Candy Crush Jelly Saga, and Candy Crush Friends (even though I'm not on Facebook and therefore have no "friends.")
The 5 (or 3 or 1) Gold Bars you get when finishing a level is woefully lacking. At the very least, you should receive 10 Gold Bars - enough to buy one additional turn when you fail a level.
We need to be able to "pause" between levels. Once you claim Gold Bars, you have to exit the game to avoid starting the next level.
As for the Jelly Queen levels, I have two suggestions. Either eliminate them altogether, or give us unlimited turns - so we at least have a chance at surviving. Coloring Candies and/or Color Bombs always seem to land next to Jelly Queen's candies, not mine. I think I was on Level 243 yesterday when I once again lost not only Allen's boosters, but all 5 lives. I got so frustrated that I decided to post here for the first time.
And why, oh why, do we only get 3 additional turns when we're playing one of the bosses?!?!? We're spending the same number of Gold Bars as we do on other levels. Why don't we get the same number of additional turns?
As I said, I've uninstalled/reinstalled the app several times. I think I was in the 600's at my highest. I play these games to relax and have some fun, not to get so frustrated that I want to throw my Fire tablet across the room.
Very interesting @ZippyZap and I agree!
We asked multiple times this "pause" between levels to avoid starting a new race.I have several months to play a lot of levels and I do not really know what is going on, but as you say that you have to exit game to avoid starting next level, nothing happened!
As for the Jelly Queen levels, the R.C. experience teach us many things! The vs J-Queen levels could be vs levels R.C. type, not letting you to spread the Queen's jelly, but only yours! This way levels could be more enjoyable!
@Princess_Jessica @Spinnifix @NamTruong2001 @Andres-2 what do you think about this?
