Why am I being promoted to log-in to Facebook.

I am IN FACT logged-in to Facebook as my pic is displayed & everything!

    I play King games from the time CCSaga started, many years! My connection is always with facebook. I see this message for first time!

    However, the message does not say that you are not logged in to fb, but "asks permission" to use fb so that Jelly is going to sign in to your account!

    What happened after this message? Did you connected o.k. to your Jelly account?

    That doesn’t make any sense. If I am logged-in to Facebook why would it need to “ask permission” to use Facebook? If I’m already logged-in to Facebook then it is ALREADY signed-in to my account. Therefore, there is absolutely no reason whatsoever why I would need to give permission when I had already done so.

    As far what happens if I tap “continue” I get prompted to enter my email address & password….but I shouldn’t have to do that when I am ALREADY logged-in to Facebook.

    As I had already indicated in my previous message, my pic is displayed so I am, in fact, logged-in to Facebook.

    Does this problem still exist? I could imagine it being a glitch. Have you ever made an update? If you click continue, I think it's just to log in and not to log in again as a new player.

    Yes, it’s still happening. I play all 3 Candy Crush games (regular, Jelly & Soda) as well as both Cookie Jam games (regular & Blast) & all 5 games are linked to my Facebook but Candy Crush Jelly is the only game it is happening on. It has been happening for (way) too long so I don’t believed it’s just “a glitch” & I have automatic updates turned “on” so I should never have to manually update anything.

    Hello and thank you for replying. Even if you have the updates set automatically, sometimes you have to check and do it manually. Sometimes there is a delay in responding. I do it that way too. Question do you have a King account? Because with a King account there are not as many problems as with FB. I would still enter the data. Maybe it will be done from time to time. I also have websites and I have to give my consent to them. Then it's only once and I can always go back in normally. I'll give you the moderator again who can take care of it. Unfortunately I can't and would like to do it. Have a nice day

    No, I do not have a specific King account for the game(s), only to get into this message board. All of my King game accounts are through Facebook. However, I am not having this issue with all the Candy Crush games, it’s only with Soda.

    I can’t be logged-out of Facebook through the game when my pic i, in fact, display it n the game profile & the level I’m on….all that tells me is that I am, in fact, logged-in. So why am I getting this on Jelly but not on any of the other games?

    Hello and welcome 🤗 I'm so sorry your having issue. You can use a couple of things to try and get this resolved below 👇

    First

    Contact Support:

    Open the game app and go to the settings menu (gear icon).

    Tap on the "?" and select the topic of the issue.

    Select "Contact Us" and provide details about the issue, including your Game ID and the problem with your email and password.

    Second you can also try

    Restart the Game: Sometimes, restarting the game can fix temporary glitches.

    Update the Game: Ensure the game is updated to the latest version.

    Clear Cache (Android):

    Go to Settings > Apps > The game > Storage > Clear Cache.

    Clear Cache (iOS):

    Go to Settings > General > iPhone Storage > The game > Offload App.

    If nothing helps, Contact Support: Follow the steps mentioned above.

    Contacting support is completely useless. I had already contacted support & that was nothing but a complete waste of time….all I ever got from them was a link to come here.
