Not getting extra lives from friends

Everytime I ask for more lives from friends, Facebook doesn,t send my request. But when I help a friend that seems to work fine.

Did you know that Facebook changed their settings? So you have to allow the game access to your friends list and your friends need to do the same. Go to the apps section in your settings and check that you have given Candy access to your list, get your friends to do the same.
