Since last update always returns to Level 1.

Ever since the last update, when I complete a level, it returns to Level 1. I find this very inconvenient as I am at level 949.  Will this bug be fixed soon? I turned my iphone6 off and on more than once hoping it was just some small glitch but no help there. This is happening on my ipad mini as well.
