Trying to unlock episode

I have completed level 260 and chose to unlock the next episode by using bars but the game has taken 27 bars from me without unlocking the next episode.  The screen is saying 'Still waiting for an answer from the Google Play Store'

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I can progress now.  Thanks
