All my friends names and symbols have changed to characters of the game, how do I change them back

I can not send lives or request to my friends as their info is no longer on the phone just game characters and some strange names and numbers, how do I get my friends names back

Hi Elaine!
Sounds like the game is no longer connected to Facebook.
In most cases all you will have to do then is to start the game on your mobile, click on the blue 'Connect to Facebook' button followed by your login details and your avatars will be back to normal.

This has just happened to me. I don't have the option to connect to FB
I now have a "my account" button under the play button.
Any suggestions will be welcomed.
King help does not answer my question with there specific topics.0 -
