Sugar drops reward does not work

every time my sugar drops are "weighed" and my reward is about to be issued, nothing happens. The gift box comes down but claim reward is not highlighted so I cannot claim this or exit the screen. This happens on both iPad and iPhone regardless of Internet connection and means that I cannot progress any further. Please fix. I note lots of others have had similar problems
