CCS and PC app

I just upgraded to Windows 10 on my PC and the CCS app that came with it is supposed to connect to Facebook. I CAN NOT get this app to connect. It times outs. And if I click retry three times the app crashes and closes. Not only will it not connect it won't save my game either. It won't save the email address I put in, it won't let me edit profile and constantly says "no internet connection" but I promise my computer is on the internet. I have a user id from playing inside Facebook but if I can't connect it what good is it? Can someone PLEASE provide some support for the PC?? Thanks.
