Curious about level 1101

In the videos I watched, it shows the bombs start out with I believe is 18 for count down but in the game it's only 8 and the board seems very impossible with the 4 blockers down on the right side of the board, I even used fish and I was no where near close. Is there something wrong with this board or is it just me?
