boosters disappeared. again!!

Why does King let earn boosters (by spinning the wheel, collecting sugar drops and other) only to make them suddenly disappear?! It happened many times! The explanation is that it's because of an update, but I've switched off automatic updates and did not update the app for a month (after my boosters were gone last time). I hoped that might help, but tonight they were gone again!    

Each time I promise myself I'll stop playing. And each time I come back. But one day I'll find enouh strengh.

Unless it's fixed.

Unfortunately this does seem to be happening to a few people recently, though I always thought it was linked to the game updating. If you had automatic updates switched off the only thing left to do is use boosters as you go rather than store them.
