Lost progress when I upgraded my tablet.

Despite restoring my app profile from a backup on a new tablet, I have lost progress on Candy Crush saga.  I was on level 245 in Candyworld and 18 in Dreamworld.  Can this be restored if I provide my old id number?  I had to reinstall the app again on my new tablet and this created a new id where .i am back to zero.  :-(

It's no surprise if you tried to transfer to another device as it's been set up in such a way that it does not allow you to access or manipulate the game file . If it wasn't embedded that way then anyone could copy their save file and share it with anyone, or even sell it which I'm sure would be a nightmare for King. It's only via the two options King gives that it is possible to do it, using FB or a Kingdom account to make a copy of your progress on a server, then on the new device you connect it to either one you chose and hey presto, you're back to where you left off. Did you ever connect to either one by any chance?
