Why can't we save our 2 hour free play for a time that's convenient for use?

I spend all that time winning those competitions only to beat it at the most inconvenient time to actually use the 2 hour free lives. Like right before work. We can pick when we use everything else, why not that?

That's just the way it's been designed, it's not convenient but that just the way it is, it is free after all.
