Level 1408 hang after completing

I was playing in Chrome Version 47.0.2526.106 m on Windows 7 x64. I completed level 1408. The game hung exiting the level. The candy crush background was showing, but no popups asking me to share my score or move to the next level. I reloaded the browser tab, and it appears like the game did not record my completion. Furthermore, I had an extra life gift from a friend which I had not used yet. It has disappeared.

This used to happen to me quite a lot. I saw some basic tricks that helped me out. I changed to Chrome, this works well for me. I cleared out my cache and I closed all the tabs I had open. Try this, I do it now on a regular basis and I never have any loading issues.
