I am having a hard time beating the Jelly Queen on level 11 in Jelly Crunch

I believe I am supposed to be the red candy and the Queen is supposed to be the green candy.  I believe I have no idea what I am doing.  Every time I get a good candy, she gets to use it before I can even get to it.  May I get help with some type of strategy?  The game is usually over by the time I even begin to get anywhere

Hi Rosedach. You are right that the red jelly is your color, and that the green jelly is the Queen's. The meter at the top of the screen let's you see your progress in defeating the Queen, when the meter gets to the end you will win. It is frustrating that the Jelly Queen will sometimes steal your special candies, but remember that each time you make one you will stun her and get an extra move. The strategy involves some anticipation of what the she will do on her next move so even though most of the time you want to play offense and spread your red jelly, there will be times when you have to play defense to stop her from spreading her jelly.
