Why can I only ask friends who don't play candy crush saga for tickets or lives?

If I put my friends who do play in the search bar nothing comes up. It is very frustrating to me. I love to play but now I need tickets and I have to wait 72 hours to be able to continue playing because I can't ask people who actually play for the tickets.

Hey Tonya,
Do you play connected to either your Facebook account or your Kingdom account?
If you play through Facebook, then make sure you allow the game to access your friend list.I find this the easiest to do on PC. Go to your Facebook homepage.
Click on the little black arrow top right on your screen and select ´Apps.´ Choose Candy Crush Saga and check if the settings are set correctly.
If you play connected to your Kingdom account, then I think you should automatically get friends assigned in the game.
