Candy Crush Saga will not load and I have not been able to play for the last week.

I play CCS on my IPad and not through Facebook and have not registered my name etc in the game. I was on level 500 and I will give up rather than have to reload the app and lose my progress. I contacted help.King.com but got the automated response but no help. I have updated the game but that has made no difference. When I click on the icon it opens the King.com orange page, says it is loading and then stops and goes back to the Homescreen. Help!!!!!

Hi Sarahstevem!
Did you have the game connected to Kingdom (orange button)? If yes then all good! This will ensure that you can recover your game progress, highscores and gold bars.
If you neither had Facebook or Kingdom connection then you might try with a backup of your mobile data before re-installing the game. After reinstalling you can the try with restoring the data back and hopefully the game will work again.
