Issue with level 1691 candy crush

There seems to be an issue with level 1691. When the spinning things get rid of the blocks, it does not come off of my total for what I need to get to beat the level. So this level is impossible to beat. I understand you need to let them spin up to get the black licorice things but it should at least retire the blocks since nothing is regenerating the blocks. I clear all the blocks on the level but I am still left with needing about 13-16 . Is this normal? Can you please advise as to how to fix this?

Nope it's not normal but you're the second person at least to mention it so it looks like it's a problem with the mobile app. I think you'll just have to wait for King to fix this unless you can play on another device or Facebook or king.com in the meantime.
