I have completed Level 725 three times by getting way more than the required points.

The screen says "OH, NO" and only gives me the option to end the game. Never had this problem before on any level. The last game I scores over 500,000 points and only 450,000 is required. What is wrong???

Because there are bombs on countdown in this level you do not get the reward until time has run out. It would appear that you are playing on after reaching the target and allowing bombs to countdown to zero which automatically ends the game in a loss whatever score you have amassed.
