Please help me! All my Candy Crush friends disappeared from my game some time back. I cannot invite them back to join me as only non-players appear in my friends list. Before everyone disappeared, I was able to send gifts to co-players, but when they opened those gifts, they received nothing. It's lonely.

It sounds like your game has connected to Kingdom instead of Facebook. Open the app and check in the settings (home page, bottom left) and connect again to Facebook, this sound return your friends to the game.
