Level ending before out of moves

When playing Candy Crush Saga today I found that I was getting the end of level message after only 1-3 moves. Cannot understand why. I have played Candy Crush Saga for several years and this has never happened before. Any ideas?

It's a bug. It was introduced on Wednesday. It will no doubt be fixed in due course.
