Please help me move along

I am on one of those levels where you have to get help from friends or wait. I do not play the game with friends, and though it seems silly to me that the game has this, I would go through the wait, but the timer is set at zero and nothing happens. How do i get it going again?

There is no envelope icon.

Hi Tante- I am sorry that you cannot find the envelope icon. I have sent you another message so that you have a new notification. Please could you see if there is an envelope icon on King Care in the top right hand corner next to your profile picture?
