Update on my "flashing and freezing" problem with Candy Crush Saga....

I downloaded the update 1.80.0.2 onto my Galaxy Tablet running Android 4.0.4.

My original problem:  The screen begins to flash when I start a level or after a short time playing.  Sometimes immediately, and sometimes after 5-6 moves. 

Update: I am on level 1,627 and play on a Galaxy Android tablet. The new information is that I can consistently get the "flashing and freezing" to happen when I activate a striped candy piece.  when I get a stripe on stripe, or packet, or other special piece I don't see the same consistent problem.

    Hi Steve!

    I suggest you do a re-installation of the game. I saw on another thread a step by step instruction on how to do it:

    1) Make sure you have the game connected to Facebook or Kingdom (this will save your progress, highscores and gold bars) To save your boosters you'll need to do a backup of your mobile data.

    2) Un-install the app

    3) Reboot your phone

    4) Now it's time to download the app and install it again. Find the app on Google Play: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.king.candycrushsaga 

    5) After the game has been installed you should now be able to start it normally.

    6) Don't forget to connect the game to Facebook (blue button) or Kingdom (orange button) in order to retrieve your game progress, highscores and gold bars. For the boosters you'll need to do a restore process in order to recreate them.

    7) Done!

    My solution was to install the application on a new iPad.  It works there.  The solution is to not use an old Galaxy Tablet.
