Candy Crush Saga stalls on PC

I have Candy Crush Saga on both my PC and facebook. I can start the game using a desktop short cut on the PC but it quits responding after 2 moves. The game works good when I switch to facebook on my PC. It almost acts like the program is loading twice and computer is seeing a conflict. Up until about a week ago the game ran fine. Any suggestions? Can I delete it and reload it?

Hey Mike,
I'm not much of a tech savvy but I'd only play on PC either through Facebook, King.com or the Windows 10 app for Candy Crush Saga.
Always make sure you regularly clear cache and restart your PC every now and then. Install updates when they are available too.

Normally I also only play on my PC with the Windows 10 app. I turn off my computer every night and clear history every session. I think the problem started after I ran a CCleaner and Defrag. Been running these two programs for several years and never had an issue.
