Not receiving keys

i am playing candy crush on both iPad and iPhone. I have completed level 410 and it is requesting I ask friends for keys to unlock, which I did. Their responses are not showing up in a timely way and the responses on iPad are different than the iPhone. This morning I received one that was sent more than 12 hours before, but only on the iPhone. How can this be corrected?

Hey Peg,

As far as I know only levels and gold bars synchronize between devices.

Things like boosters, lives and messages don´t, hence why it can appear differently on your iPad than on your iPhone. You will receive the keys on the device where you ask them from.
