My special candies are gone. I had to do a reset on my phone and tablet.

How do I get my special candies back? I had to do a reset on my tablet and my android phone. My phone and tablet never did match on how many candies ...ie bombs, jelly eating fish....smashers..My tablet showed I had way more than my android phone did. How is that syncing with facebook?

I guess the thing here is that only gold bars and levels synchronize in their games, but lives, messages and boosters don´t.

You basically get those on the device where you´re playing on or sending the requests from. 

Doing an update or a reset can make you lose saved up items in the game. I stopped saving them up, but use them instead now.
