Why do I not have the Candy Crush Treasure Calendar on either my iPhone or iPad?

The Candy Crush Treasure Calendar never has appeared on any mobile version of the app that I have used. I was shocked to see it when I played on my Mother's iPad the other day. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling but that didn't do anything. I am using a iPhone 6s with the latest operating system and candy crush update.

Why does my friend have new game features, but I do not?
From time to time we test temporary new features in our games, this is rolled out to a small selection of players. The selection process is completely random. If we decide that a new feature will remain in game, it will then be rolled out to all players.
This means you might not have this promo but maybe you'll get the next one and your mum won't for example.
