Level 1
I've been a Candy Crush Saga player for a while now, usually using a Samsung S3 (GT-I9300) with Android 4.3.
While I'm fond of the game itself, I've never liked how resource-consuming it is. In particular, why are so *many* animations active most of the time: several objects in scenarios grow and shrink; score fireworks activate after score range is reached; several other... Worse, this sort of animations is *linear*, causing the screen to update as fast as possible with little benefit (visual, that is).
I'm proposing that a new option is created for disabling this sort of eye-candy/background animations, along with a set of possible denominations/descriptions: "Reduce visual richness", "Battery saving mode", "Turn off eye-candy" (this last description proposal is naturally fit for the "Candy" set of games). Animations related with user interaction (combining candy, pressing buttons, etc.) or related to core gameplay (candy explosions, table reorganization, etc.) would be kept as-is.
Please let me know if additional information is needed. Thanks!
