Well I'm plugging away at 1997 because I once again played sugar track, used all available boosters, played sugar track, used all available boosters.....again and again on previous levels and now am booster-less. again. And I was sad to see all the comments about 1998 and how many boosters I'm going to need for that. It seems that most levels now require boosters to complete--and some far too many to be fair. Oh I know, it's possible without boosters, but so is winning the lottery. I don't want to play most levels 100 times before I can move on. Call it whining if you want because I probably am, but I was just wondering if anyone else was getting sick of this booster madness.
Yes, Tammy..Agree totally about the booster nonsense.I was one of those players that used many boosters to pass level 1998 and not to mention the gold bars for extra moves... but the good news for you and others to follow is that it appears to have been tweeked and is doable now. Lucky you
Well yes, it does look a bit like whining. It's been my experience that two to three days completing a new episode followed by the rest of the week restocking any boosters used has provided me with more than enough to tackle the game. I'm a little surprised that you're using up a lot on 1997 which I completed with none at all though I did gain a bit of leverage by forcing a shuffle to bring the bombs down into the main board without having to break the frosting.
Oop's my bad Baz. My comments above were intended for level 1998 which was not doable without the use of multiple boosters. It appears to have been fixed now so players shouldn't have that hard of a time passing. I as yourself play, complete the episode, then play the sugar track to gather more boosters.
