Problem with challenge and message button

The challenge doesn't load and the box disappears after I click on the "Sweet" button. Also, the message/notification button is greyed out so I can't try and get to the challenge from there. How do I solve this without uninstalling and reinstalling as I don't want to lose the boosters I have built up?

It sounds like there could be an issue with the connection from your mobile.

I suggest you check this link if you have Android: https://care.king.com/en/candy-crush-saga/lost-your-connection-to-facebook-android or this link if you have iOS: https://care.king.com/en/candy-crush-saga/lost-your-connection-to-facebook-ios

Once the connection is working correctly again you should now be able to play the special events and send/receive messages again.

Thanks Combo, I checked out the link and I had already done as it suggested earlier this week. It didn't appear to solve it straightaway but may have helped as a couple of days later it has started working again... I think my phone was maybe just being temperamental but thanks for replying :-)
