Refresh Candy Crush license on Android

I cannot open Candy Crush. The prompt reads, "License Expired. The license for this app needs to be refreshed. Please try again."  Then there is only one option: to push the :"OK" button, which just shuts down the game. I downloaded the game using Google Play. I do not want to uninstall for fear of being sent down from almost level 900 to level one!

From seeing this issue before I think you need to be connected to wi-fi so that the app can update and refresh the license. Try this and see if it helps.
