Facebook sync without reinstall android?

Hello, about a month ago I changed my facebook password and have not been able to sync candy crush.  Since then I have made a lot of progress (currently level 1302) so I do not want to reinstall the app.  Any other way to sync.  Background: I get the green check mark, but it says I cannot access the kingdom right now.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

    Try to see if you can restore the connection if you've already been using Facebook, try go through the suggestions given here: https://care.king.com/en/candy-crush-saga/lost-your-connection-to-facebook-android

    I've tried all those steps with no luck, all the software is up to date, and restarted the app many times. Also, I tried resetting the facebook password back to what is was before and still no luck
